A note on our activities
At Taj Exotica, most of our activities are nature-based, designed to immerse guests in the beauty and biodiversity of the surroundings. Our experienced Nomadic Tribes team prioritizes your safety and ensures every activity is conducted with the utmost care.
However, as these experiences take place in natural environments, conditions can vary and nature is inherently unpredictable. While all activities are designed to provide an authentic and educational encounter, there may be instances where certain animals, birds, or plants are not observed, despite the guidance of our trained birders, naturalists and marine biologist. Each walk is unique, and sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Guests are requested to acknowledge that, in rare and unforeseen circumstances, Nomadic Tribes and the resort team cannot be held responsible for any incidents. Your safety and enjoyment remain our top priority.

Beyond the beaches, Havelock Island has a quieter side — guided forest treks, bird watching at dawn, bush craft and survival skills, archery, and after-dark experiences like night walks and stargazing. Nomadic Tribes runs all of these as land-based nature activities away from the main tourist trail.
Yes — Havelock's forest edges are active with bird life at dawn, and with minimal light pollution away from the resorts, night skies are clear enough for real stargazing. Both are run as guided sessions with naturalists.
Guides first. Everything else follows.
Trained naturalists & birders
Every walk is led by someone who studies this ecosystem — birders, naturalists and a marine biologist who read the island for a living.
Small, unhurried groups
Sessions stay intimate, so your guide can actually show you things — a snail cluster at low tide, a constellation, a hidden brook.
Nature-first, always
Sightings are never guaranteed and never forced. We move gently through wild places and leave them exactly as we found them.
